We proudly support programs and serve in associations that are aligned with the values of our organization. Nancy is a strong believer that it is important to "give back" to the community and personally does so by being actively involved with the following groups: National Association of Women Business Owners During the 2005-06 NAWBO year, Nancy will lead a special project to develop presentations for the three newly published NAWBO books: 1. Taking an Idea to Market: How to Turn Your Vision into a Successful Business 2. Tapping Your Inner Entrepreneur: Making the Move from Employee to Business Owner 3. Money Matters: Positioning Your Business for Growth National Association of Women Business Owners NAWBO is the premier organization in the United States representing the interests of all women business owners. Chicago Area NAWBO, among the largest of the organization's more than 90 chapters, offers a wealth of opportunities ranging from contacts and networking to learning, advocacy and growth. Empowering Women Network Nancy is an active silver member of EWN, which is a full-service professional women's organization, focusing on leadership and balance
Illinois Baptist State Association Nancy has served on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Baptist State Association since 2003. She currently serves on the Administrative Committee and the Executive Director Search Committee.
Women in Need Growing Stronger Nancy is a member of the Career Services Committee for WINGS (Women in Need Growing Stronger). The purpose is to help homeless women in Chicago's northwest suburbs with basic work skills so they can gain employment and become independent.
Character Counts Coalition Nancy serves on the Character Counts Coalition in DuPage County and in her community, Bartlett, Illinois. The purpose of the coalitions is to provide good character education to students, K-12, particularly focusing on the six pillars of character: caring, citizenship, fairness, respect, responsibility, and trustworthiness.
Harper College Nancy has served on the Administrative Technology Advisory Council for William Rainey Harper College in Palatine, Illinois since 1994.
